Chez Navarre sur Toulouse

05/04/2024: Having discovered this address almost a year ago, we went there regularly with a certain pleasure. Moreover, we highly recommended this address to those around us, proof that we appreciated it. Not long ago, a friend told us that he had been there for lunch on our recommendation and said he was a little disappointed. I tried to convince him that it was best in the evening (we had only been there in the evening) and he tried the experience again with us one evening. That it was not our disappointment to see: - on too many occasions several empty trays or empty refrigerators for desserts even though we arrived at 8 p.m. and left at 10:30 p.m. - foie gras no longer in a "block" but in a small slice of bread (which encourages you to take less, especially if you don't want toasted bread but normal bread) - smoked salmon is no longer self-service in a dish but in small pieces on small plates (which encourages you to take less) - the snails have disappeared for a few months (maybe for a good reason, I can't say) - less choice (more tuna, less cheese, etc.), especially since the "move" of this department with the others So, I clearly feel mixed, hence this note. With my wife, we have the impression that these choices were motivated by financial optimization, to the detriment of the "customer experience" which was better a few months ago. It's a shame because it was my favorite address around Toulouse and I hesitate to come back because of this... Fortunately, in terms of taste, especially for the beef skewer, it's top notch!

23/03/2024: All-you-can-eat evening menu at 39 euros - red wine by the glass served too hot - we did not find the different meat dishes to our taste OK for starters and dessert but in the end the value for money is not good for us
