In a back room of the PMU (betting shop), an incredible discovery awaited: delicious mussels and fries, plentiful and unbeatable in their freshness. All this at a price that defies all competition. Don't hesitate! The atmosphere is local and simple, but the welcome is very friendly. They move quickly, so come back 15 minutes later to get a table.

We had mussels and fries. For a moment, we rediscovered the atmosphere of yesteryear in this little bistro. 😍 Friendly and unpretentious. A little gem in the village of Wissant. 🙂

They only serve mussels or ham and fries for €14. The mussels are served in very generous portions, so arrive early to get a table. Very family-friendly atmosphere.

A simple restaurant, but a must if you want to eat mussels in Wissant. Very popular, therefore a bit noisy, simply rustic. But the best mussels ever.

A must-visit in Wissant...true to form. The owner is always smiling and welcoming. The staff are always busy! The menu isn't extensive, but you can be assured of the quality of the products. Highly recommended!

16/09/2026: A very pleasant and friendly restaurant with excellent cuisine. Accessible to strollers. The live video feed of the region was a nice touch.
15/09/2026: Is this the best restaurant on the côte d'opale? No. It's probably not the best restaurant in town either, and yet I keep coming back to it. This place is a great example of a no nonsense, laid back, casual local brasserie. The menu consists of familiar French classics and there's good options for both meat and fish. They also offer daily specials which are worth checking out. The pricing is affordable, the service is fast and friendly and the atmosphere is great if you just want a good meal without any frills after a long day on the beach. Best to book a table during the high season.
