Chez Papou sur Agde

06/08/2026: I found the staff friendly, smiling, and kind. No airs and graces, just laid-back. The hotel has incredible potential; I think a few extra touches would make it perfect. For example: a bigger TV, a coffee machine in the hallway with pods, water, and tea. A bottle of water in each room with two cups. Because at €120 a night... back home in Alsace or across the border in Germany, it's these little touches that make all the difference. And as for the restaurant, the waitress, a certain age, was very kind. However, she said, "Sir, we don't settle scores with the waitress in front of the customers; we do it out of sight." And the filet mignon—be careful with the cooking... it was a little overcooked, but it was still good.
