During my two visits to Denain, I had the pleasure of having lunch each time in this charming Italian restaurant. On each visit, I was well received and ate well. Besides, the calzone pizza, in particular, is a real treat! Well done

We had a great time at Chez Peponne in Denain! We chose special pizzas and we simply enjoyed ourselves! Special mention for the burrata, a real delight, meltingly soft and full of flavors. And what about the welcome? Warm, smiling, top of the line! A big thank you to Alexandra for her communicative dynamism, and to Bénédicte for her generosity and kindness. The three waitresses were remarkably kind. For sure, we will come back with great pleasure to discover the other dishes on the menu, which must be just as delicious. Congratulations to the whole team and thank you for this wonderful moment!

Back to basics this Tuesday, March 11, after the ''delicate'' episode of last October... it is clear that the meals are still of good quality, the timing is well managed despite the crowds! Well done! The service is also good. No hard feelings Salvatore 😉. Eric, your neighbor across the street.

04/01/2026: A fantastic find! The three of us had lunch there on January 5th at 12:30 pm and everything was perfect. From the welcome to the food, the quality was outstanding. 12/11/2025: We received a very warm welcome, even though we hadn't booked, as we were just passing through the area. The food is simple but well-executed (a special mention for the fries, which I don't usually like, but here they were excellent!) and in the end, it was very, very good. The decor is tasteful. The restrooms are spotlessly clean. Everything I love when I go to a restaurant. The owner, a petite woman, is always buzzing with energy and very cheerful. She greets her regulars with kisses, and clearly, there are many regulars. In less than half an hour, all the tables were taken. Good places are passed on by word of mouth... And besides, I say that small businesses that do a good job should be encouraged! So, go there! It's worth it! The dishes are homemade, so there's a bit of a wait, but it's worth it. One small but important detail: the menu is displayed on the paper menu you'll be given, but look around too! There are also small chalkboards on the walls offering other dishes! Keep your eyes peeled!
