Le Chantilly sur Denain

A fantastic find! The three of us had lunch there on January 5th at 12:30 pm and everything was perfect. From the welcome to the food, the quality was outstanding. We received a very warm welcome, even though we hadn't booked, as we were just passing through the area. The food is simple but well-executed (a special mention for the fries, which I don't usually like, but here they were excellent!) and in the end, it was very, very good. The decor is tasteful. The restrooms are spotlessly clean. Everything I love when I go to a restaurant. The owner, a petite woman, is always buzzing with energy and very cheerful. She greets her regulars with kisses, and clearly, there are many regulars. In less than half an hour, all the tables were taken. Good places are passed on by word of mouth... And besides, I say that small businesses that do a good job should be encouraged! So, go there! It's worth it! The dishes are homemade, so there's a bit of a wait, but it's worth it. One small but important detail: the menu is displayed on the paper menu you'll be given, but look around too! There are also small chalkboards on the walls offering other dishes! Keep your eyes peeled!

Very good cuisine. Traditional dishes. Friendly atmosphere. A great place.
