Chez Pilou sur Biarritz

Everything was perfect! Menu, price, quality, service 👏🏻 A three-course meal for €24, just steps from the casino in Biarritz, is quite rare and worth mentioning. Even more so when the menu is generous and truly delicious. The pâté, salmon, Basque aligot, and hanger steak were all absolutely divine (and the chocolate mousse is to die for!). i'll do this review in English although I do speak French and am fluent in French. This little pub in Biaritz is outstanding. I prided myself on making the best gin and tonics in the world and then I met Pilou. I bow down to him his gin and tonics. They are unrivaled. I like a special tonic water called Q tonic here in the US but he came out with some tonic that was something like 1782 or some such. Pilou explained to me that the meaning of that name was the altitude in the Andes where the tonic water is produced. And the gin he used was some German thing I've never heard of but was just outstanding. and last but not least he understood the concept of cold ice. The importance of using cold ice when making a mixed drink.

Delicious food, impeccable service. We'll be back!

A superb address in Biarritz. We found an authentic atmosphere and decor that perfectly complements it. A word of caution for children: some of the images in the restrooms are suggestive.

A special moment... an atmosphere far removed from the bourgeois bohemians.

A real gem discovered last night! A typical bistro setting that's most pleasant. A friendly team like you rarely see. A generous, aesthetically pleasing, and oh-so-tasty plate! Prices that don't spoil the delicious meal. In short, I'll definitely be back! Thanks to everyone!

Wow!! This is a lovely little bistro. With super cool decor. Top-notch service. And on the plate, nothing to complain about. And the cherry on the cake is the music: soul, funk, rhythm and blue, pure bliss. So rare.

A warm welcome, and it's good at very reasonable prices.
