Chez Steph sur La Rochefoucauld

Me and my friends visited Chez Steph for lunch and we all had different cuts of steak from the menu. Each steak was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The steaks come with fries which were also tasty. The prices are very good for a steak meal and the service was very quick. Would definitely recommended if you are in the area!

A bill that was far too high for an unpretentious lunch taken on the terrace.

It's always difficult to find a restaurant when you're a lost tourist at 12 p.m. looking for a place to have lunch. Where, how to choose? It's hot, you're thirsty, hungry, and there are plenty of options. So we take a look at Tripadvisor. But the reviews only reflect the impressions of the diners. Some rate it "excellent," others "horrible." So I set my sights on a recommended establishment, "Chez Steph." It's located on a shaded square facing the castle. It has a large terrace under generous parasols. No reservation? No problem. You're invited to sit down, but it's true that at 12 p.m., it's not yet rush hour. We're in no rush. No problem, you can have a drink before ordering. The establishment has a rank to maintain, so the management has certainly selected affable, smiling, and attentive servers, although under pressure from the tourists who are starting to flock there (so it's still possible). We had a lovely time in the fresh air. Lunch was a breath of fresh air, allowing us to recharge our tourist batteries. A friendly welcome, attentive service, and efficient cuisine—what can we say?

Awesome. Small family meal upstairs with a view of the wood fire. The cuisine is generous. Efficient service with a very good, friendly atmosphere. Change nothing 😉
