A tiny restaurant that is always fully booked...so make a reservation!! The food was delicious and plentiful. The drinks were fresh and cool. The service was interesting and took some getting used to. The staff were friendly and attentive. You sit quite closely and inevitably come into contact with the other guests.

Small, friendly room. Traditional home-made Alsatian cuisine. We and our guests had a great time! Even the dish of the day, beef bourguignon, was excellent. Desserts were a bit expensive. The restaurant transforms into a tea room in the afternoon with desserts and homemade pies, plus they are cheaper if you eat at this time than during meal time.

Nice, friendly little place (and yes, it really is little - arrive early or book). Lots of traditional dishes, good food, very reasonably priced for old town Strasbourg; we had a couple of choucroutes - one salmon, one confit de canard, and very nice they were too.

A beautiful, cozy little restaurant with incredible food. The waitress is charming and the dishes are delicious. We had a great time and even had to bring another dessert so we could enjoy it later. Perfect ! To do again without hesitation!!!

11/12/2024: More heating in the restaurant would be a plus, friendly welcome and very good Arsène hamburger.
11/12/2024: Excellent meal crowned with charismatic and relaxed service. The house specialty is paprika fries which go perfectly with the different burgers on offer and are delicious (I haven't tasted them all🙃)

15/12/2024: An unparalleled break in our visit to Strasbourg. Welcome and helpfulness, beautiful tasty dishes with regional flavors and an excellent amber beer! Thank you very much for this moment.
15/12/2024: I ordered choucroute with glass of white wine and kougelholf ice cream. Choucroute was nice. It was a mild taste and light more than expected. Mustard was a good accent. Also good match with white wine. For Kougelholf, I expected kind of pound cakes, but the staff kindly explained me that it is an ice cream with rhum. I was also good.
