We rounded off a super hot day of sightseeing in Strasbourg with a fantastic dinner at Pierre Bois et Feu. The meat was of exceptional quality, the service super friendly, and the wine top-notch! Highly recommended.

A great find. Very "eighties" vibe. The owner is from the same era, and proudly so. The price/quality ratio is a bit high. But it's definitely worth going back for.

Discovered this restaurant on... TikTok... I admit it. And I wasn't disappointed! 👍🏻 Excellent!! Everything from the welcome and the meal to the staff. A chef who goes above and beyond! Kind and incredibly dedicated 😃 I really appreciated the explanations about the breed of cows and their environment. An exquisite amuse-bouche, a starter of beef carpaccio that was to die for, and the main course, the specialty, a ribeye steak heated with a special iron of excellent quality! 😋 And the dessert 🫠 wow! A delicate strawberry puff pastry... Mmm... In short, a wonderful discovery and encounter! Thank you 😘

We had the absolute pleasure of having our 25th wedding anniversary dinner here last night. It’s a tiny restaurant, 9 tables, two chefs and a host. We started with beef carpaccio and fois gras, and they did not disappoint. The gave us an amouche bouche of steak tar-tar, now I have never ever liked steak tar-tar and this was delicious. We ordered the Chateau Briand for two and it was so buttery and delicious. I cannot recommend this place enough

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An excellent spot for meat lovers! The quality is exceptional, the cooking is perfect, and the finishing touch on the ribeye with a heated antique iron is as original as it is effective: it adds a real extra dimension to the dining experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the service is top-notch, and as a bonus, the playlist was exactly what I was looking for. This thoughtful touch made me smile and made this already wonderful experience even more enjoyable. A place I highly recommend!

Excellent restaurant for a special occasion. Light eaters, this isn't for you; the portions are generous and of very high quality! The bottle of water is a bit pricey...not that it's designed to encourage you to order a nice glass of wine...but we figure it's actually a better choice to accompany your meal. In short, if you're a lover of fine meat, don't hesitate! Treat yourself!

27/07/2026: We had an absolutely exceptional culinary experience (July 19, 2026). Each dish was a true journey, with unique, perfectly balanced, and exquisitely refined flavors. The quality of the ingredients, as well as the expertise and passion of Chef René (who runs the kitchen single-handedly), were immediately apparent. Jessica's welcome was warm, the service attentive, and the ambiance refined, making the experience even more enjoyable. Without hesitation, this is the best restaurant we have discovered to date. Umami is a must-visit, one we wholeheartedly recommend and where we will return with the greatest pleasure. Bravo and thank you to Jessica and René for this magnificent experience.
07/07/2026: A discovery of exquisite flavors, dishes as beautiful as they are delicious, a few hours of escape between France and Japan! The non-alcoholic beverage pairings are surprising and original. Flawless from start to finish. We would have liked to see the chef, however, which is generally customary in this style of restaurant, and even more so in a Michelin-starred establishment! A minor oversight easily rectified in this small, cozy, and welcoming restaurant with only 16 seats.

10/08/2026: We stopped for a quick drink as it was extremely hot, nice atmosphere and cool motorbike themed bar. Although being lunchtime I expect its great later in the day ,or evening. I had a small beer 0.25 which was only 4.5% but a really nice cold pils at the top of the draught beer menu , and followed by a 0.5l soon after. We tried the snack menu I had a ham and cheese croque jeannette [monsieur] and my wife had a ham and pickle roll. Both lovely hit the spot. Great bar worth a visit away from the main areas.
04/08/2026: My partner and I had a lovely time; the cocktails were excellent, as was the service. I highly recommend it.
