The friendly Japanese staff provided attentive service, but the food itself was expensive and the portions were small, just like in France. It was delicious, but...
For someone with a French stomach, one set meal was not enough. It got quite pricey when you added sides, desserts, and other extras. They seemed to have a wide selection of alcoholic beverages, so this might be a good place to enjoy a variety of snacks without worrying about price or time.

By far the best Japanese bistro in Lyon, with exceptionally well-balanced dishes, both in terms of seasoning and composition.
Impeccable service, with meticulous attention to detail.
Finally, the chef offers a selection of desserts that change frequently!
Highly recommended!

We've been celebrating Valentine's Day here every year for the past six years, and occasionally for a romantic date. Never disappointed, always excellent service, always a delight. I highly recommend it! Authentic Japanese cuisine.
Edit: Since 2014, never a disappointment! The Wagyu beef still gives me goosebumps almost a year later...

I hadn't been back to Terra in years, so many changes: new owners (still Japanese, phew!), new decor (gone the old white plaster and the upstairs, hello to the single, uncluttered room with simple but pretty decor)... but fortunately the food remains delicious and finely prepared 🙏
And what about the service? The staff is very kind and helpful.
The prices are on the higher side considering the quantities, but the taste is there, I'll happily go back!
The room is small, so don't hesitate to make a reservation 😉
