We past this place at lunch and the moule and frites looked amazing. We could not get into our first choice dinner venue so we tried Chez Mickael. Service was quick but they did not have all the meals we requested. Ok Pizza, dry Lasagne, lovely chicken and linguine dishes. Wine was fine. Ate outside in bussily pedestrianised street. Not bad for Cannes. Grateful they were able to accommodate us. Must remember to book ahead for our first choice.

The owner looked after us quickly and friendly. The food was delicious, but unfortunately there was no more ice cream for dessert. We each received a glass of wine, which was a friendly gesture for us. The small, romantic alley was not too crowded and you could enjoy a quiet meal. I mention this because the hustle and bustle in the restaurants in the front row was too much for us.

I didn't check the reviews before I sat down. There was information on the table offering mussels and fries for €14, so we decided to give it a try. The older gentleman who served us was very polite. The food wasn't bad - the mussels were OK, the fries were tasty and the spaghetti bolognese was unspectacular, but it wasn't distasteful. The dishes came from a different place than the restaurant, which is why it didn't smell like food. The bill is just a piece of paper written with a pen, but the mussels were €18 each. Not a very atmospheric place, we probably won't come back.

Despite the previous reviews, we had a great time, great food and great service. Try specialities, not pizza. You will be amazed.

Really good food and many options. 4 really good dishes made in 10 minutes. The price is really worth it and nice staff, good service. I recommend this restaurant!

Wir waren als Familie in diesem für uns tollen Restaurant in der bekannten Rue Meynadier. Es ist eine tolle Location auf dem Weg zur Altstadt. Das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt und die Portionen waren sehr üppig. Die Preise sind angemessen. Das Personal hat uns sehr freundlich bedient, insbesondere Lorenzo. Er hat uns bedient, wie man es sich wünscht. Ein Stück Heimat in Cannes. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Auch wegen Lorenzo werden wir Cannes und Chez Mickael in sehr angenehmer Erinnerung behalten. Ich kann Chez Mickael nur weiterempfehlen!
