Chez tonton sur Massiac

Very friendly welcome, our waitress took the time to chat with us a bit. Tender meat. Very good burger. Good value for money.

During our vacation, we discovered this restaurant by chance and ended up going back twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. The food was excellent: simple, unpretentious cuisine made with high-quality ingredients. We also really appreciated the restaurant's clean, minimalist design. We'll definitely be back whenever we're craving a good steak!

We were served very quickly despite our late arrival. The staff were very responsive and friendly, no complaints there. As for the food, the chef's meat was delicious and perfectly cooked; he clearly knows his craft inside and out. The desserts were very good and I assume homemade. They offered suggestions like crème anglaise, a scoop of ice cream, or whipped cream for the chocolate fondant, but even on its own, it wasn't dry at all; it was absolutely delicious.

Excellent service, excellent menu, a very good time. -------------------------------------- We're back after two years of vacation at Chez Tonton. It's still just as good, with quality ingredients. You have to go if you want to eat well and have a good time. The team is still there and always friendly. --------------- Two more years have passed, and our favorite lunch stop on the way back from vacation is Chez Tonton. We absolutely have to stop there. The food is always excellent, very good as usual. The staff even recognized us thanks to my son and gave toys to my 16-month-old. They're such nice people, always a great time. Keep up the good work, you're fantastic!

We stopped for lunch as a family during our holiday journey and it was a fantastic discovery! We were all absolutely delighted. The portions were generous, the service was efficient and friendly, and the value for money was excellent. 👌 We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Ideally located, with a terrace shaded by trees and a large car park nearby. In short, if we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back.

We were very pleasantly surprised by this little restaurant. We had a very good meal with generous portions (even the children's menu!). The quality/price ratio is excellent.

We're in Massiade for the night of our summer vacation and came here for dinner. Wonderful welcome, excellent food, and even though it's the evening of August 15th and all the tables are booked, they found us a seat. Quick to take orders and serve. The place is run by women. Fabulous.

Home cooked large portions highly recommended. I had the 500g steak; a wopper! Biggest and best ever!
