This is exactly how I imagine going out to eat. The gourmet menu is incredibly delicious and inexpensive. I think that's what the founders of Michelin wanted. I haven't found it anywhere else in this quality and at this price.

We dined at prime time Christmas market Saturday night. You needed reservations, and it seemed to be two seatings, so entire restaurant filled at 1900 and ate at same time. It was me and 3 girlfriends and we had a lovely authentic Alsatian meal. Everyone founds something to enjoy, even the not-so-adventurous eaters. The wine was great. The restaurant had character and charm, and wait staff was kind despite our no French speaking table. We sat upstairs which was incredibly unique. Will visit again !

We had a wonderful time.
This restaurant really has a soul that immerses us in the winstub atmosphere, warm, friendly and specific to Alsace and its particularities.
Regardless of the dishes which were excellent, Maître Yannick and his colleague were able to accompany us throughout the meal. Of course, they were able to advise us in our choices but they were also able to give us a very interesting history lesson.
The foie gras accompanied by its Gewurtz left us with very good memories.
This winstub, whose reputation is well established, truly deserves its Bib gourmand awarded by the Michelin guide.
A distinction that I didn't know about and that Yannick introduced us to.

Very nice address, to do at least once during your stay. Typical Alsatian dishes are featured there but also revisits of interesting dishes.

Personnel très aimable, à votre service et le sens de l’humour. Une cuisine authentique et un cadre cosy avec une vraie histoire. N’hésitez pas à allez voir les « quelques cadres et signatures » (ironie) accrochés près de l’escalier 😉

An old-established restaurant with new twists to traditional dishes. We had booked early and were very well-received by a pleasant multilingual waitress. All staff knew everything about the food they were offering and were happy to describe it. Both the specials and the menu dishes were of high quality. Charming atmosphere with olde worlde decor, scrupulously clean with fresh flowers. Best to book, as people who hadn’t were being turned away.
