Everything you would expect from a place like this

We came last year as a family, and we found it was better last year than this time. Our children ate the same thing, and there were more potatoes and ham than this year. The same goes for me with the Spitzerales. They were in a small dish before, whereas this year they were put directly on the plate. But otherwise, the quality remains very good.

It was a delight and a great pleasure!

My husband and I had the most incredible meal here. Their duck confit on sauerkraut was absolutely divine. My husband had the fish on sauerkraut and I was surprised at how great that was too! We had a slice of the apple streusel tart for dessert and it was perfect. The restaurant had a very cozy Alsatian atmosphere — it was the perfect ending to our time in Strasbourg. I highly recommend this restaurant looking for quality cooking!

The boss need to hire more people because we wait too much time. The workers did great but short of workers.

We were there in the evening as a couple and ordered the set menu. The service was friendly but rather rushed, and they promptly brought us a different wine than the one we had ordered, pouring it directly into our glasses. We sat very comfortably in a corner at a spacious table. Unfortunately, given the Michelin mention, one expects a higher quality of food. The portions were generous, but none of the courses were particularly impressive. The salad as a starter was decent. The pike-perch was full of bones, dry, and quite tasteless. The Alsatian sauerkraut was average, the kind you get in many other (simpler) wine bars in Strasbourg. Of course, it's not a Michelin-starred restaurant, and that's not what you expect. But they should put a little more effort into the food. Otherwise, the restaurant is very charming and reasonably priced.

I've known your establishment for almost 60 years. It was already a benchmark among Winstubs. Having lived in Paris for 50 years, I've had few opportunities to return. I used to come in the evenings; now it's lunchtime. You're now a Michelin-starred restaurant, your menu has changed, but we still feel at home, the food is still excellent, and the service is always welcoming.

Arriving late in Strasbourg, I still managed to reserve a table at Chez Yvonne. Highly recommended! Authentic Alsatian cuisine.
