The reception was mediocre, as was the friendliness. I haven't been here for years, but I wouldn't recommend it anymore, what a shame! Food was very good. A couple came in next to them (probably on business). Along with the menu, a board was brought to the table with the specialties listed. This was not presented to us at all. A pity! A smile wouldn't hurt now and then! The salad with my liver knöpfle wasn't brought at all because no one came past the table to ask if everything was good. I didn't have the opportunity to ask where the salad was. Well, there are plenty of other restaurants that are also good, unfortunately next time it won't be at Chez Yvonne.

What a quaint and nice location. The food was really excellent and the service was top notch. Despite the lack of French and rather poor knowledge of English, the service was very helpful and courteous. Definitely worth recommending!!

The reputation of the restaurant is deserved! Very good Alsatian cuisine, with good products and some original dishes (like Alsatian makis with sauerkraut and foie gras). The meat was delicious and cooked perfectly. The setting is really nice and warm, and the service is as efficient as it is friendly. The prices are affordable considering the quality. I will return with pleasure!

We are so glad we found and visited Chez Yvonne! Very friendly and unflappable staff in a restaurant with character. The cuisine was not only appreciated by Michelin... we enjoyed the 3-course menu. Starting with foie gras, followed by coq au vin and dessert, the food is French and the portions are German 😄. We recommend!

Typically Alsatian restaurant, quite dark decor, all in varnished wood, it immediately puts us in the mood. We are seated upstairs on wooden benches. We had an aperitif. I had a glass of Muscat and I found the price of €7 exaggerated! We tested the gourmet menu with a slice of foie gras and a few dashes of cognac sauce as a starter with fig and normal toasted bread, then a truly succulent dish of young rooster with mushroom sauce accompanied by spatzle. The sauce is great, I was even able to sauce it with bread 😋 My gluten-intolerant husband was able to have fried potatoes instead of the spatzle. And for dessert, an iced kouglof generously sprinkled with gewurzt marc. A somewhat simple dessert for my taste, a thin sponge cake topped with a large vanilla ice cream in the shape of a kouglof and sprinkled with cocoa, I would have liked to find other textures and flavors in this kouglof. The other dishes and desserts on the menu were also very desirable, however the prices of the desserts remain really expensive. I recommend this restaurant 👍🏽 Special mention for the waiter Yannick who is quite funny and who puts us and his young colleague at ease.

Arrived at 8:00 p.m., order taken at 8:15 p.m., served at 8:45 p.m. Relatively long, yet during the week and not very crowded, but it was worth the wait. The Sauerkraut was just magnificent...

UNAVOIDABLE. Anyone who has never opened the door of this winchtub has never set foot or fork in a real place. The welcome is friendly, the service rigorous, the dishes exquisite. Bottled wine is within the reach of local aristocrats. The pride of man will make many jealous. The foie gras is fabulous, All that's missing is the crowing of the coq au guewurs. The exceptional calf's head. A great relaxed moment in this place steeped in human history. Thanks to Mr. Boss. Planes went to and from Paris Strasbourg by TGV for this restaurant. We'll come back to that.

In a rustic atmosphere we were looked after by an extremely friendly service crew. On the plates there were sophisticated dishes (like the excellent homemade foie gras) and - typically Alsatian - hearty dishes (like the veal kidneys flambéed in cognac in a mushroom cream sauce). A very successful evening in a veteran of the Strasbourg restaurant scene. Absolutely recommended!

Chez Yvonne offers generous, quality Alsatian cuisine. Although elevated to the rank of institution in the region, the prices offered are more than reasonable The staff is a reflection of the region, friendly and warm.
