Chiang Mai sur Cluses

I had lunch at Phan’x in Cluses. Overall, it was good: the shrimp fritters and shrimp udon were excellent, and you can tell the dishes are made to order. There's a bit of a wait, but in this case, it's not a problem; quite the opposite. The atmosphere is pleasant. The gentleman is very welcoming, while the lady is considerably less so, which makes the service somewhat inconsistent. The real downside is the price of the shrimp fritters: they were tasty, but frankly too expensive for just three small tempura. It's a shame, because it leaves a mixed impression, even though the rest is quite satisfactory.

Best food, spicy food, good location, good service, nice atmosphere. Highly recommend for those who like authentic Thai food. The taste is genuinely Thai, not altered from the original. You can choose your desired level of spiciness. For me, who likes spicy food, this was satisfyingly spicy.

A very good little restaurant in Cluses. The dishes are delicious, generous, and very reasonably priced. The dining room is a bit small, so be sure to book ahead.
