Chocolaterie Patisserie Bouche sur Beaune

20/06/2026: We loved our overnight stay at Abbaye de Maizières. Our room was up a fair few steps on a spiral staircase, and the reception/lobby bar sits in a wonderful, cool cellar-type space. We didn't eat here, simply because there are so many options in town, but the place itself is lovely and special — you really do feel the sense of history. Parking can be a bit tricky, though we found a spot on the street nearby with no trouble. The gentleman who looked after us is a real gem — into his cars, and he made our stay memorable. Thoroughly recommended. Just make sure you're happy with a bit of a climb if you end up with a room at the top, like us! 🤣

The location is excellent, tucked right into the heart of Beaune, making it easy to explore the town on foot. Our room was spacious, comfortable and thoughtfully designed, blending historic charm with the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. The service was warm and welcoming throughout our stay. The team was helpful and accommodating, making everything feel easy from arrival to departure. If you’re looking for a place that adds a unique and memorable dimension to your time in Beaune this hotel is a solid choice.
