Lunch today on the shaded terrace was a very pleasant experience and meal. I don't understand the negative reviews; nothing is perfect in this world, and a little empathy for the staff wouldn't hurt, let's be clear about that!

Good portions of food in a charmingly old-fashioned setting. The staff are incredibly friendly, befitting the restaurant's name. It's not a Michelin-starred establishment, but so enjoyable. In summer, the view of Beaune is exceptional.

Excellent food, beautifully presented, pleasant servers, and good value for money. It's a shame the atmosphere is marred by the lack of soundproofing, making the meal and conversations between diners unbearable. Perhaps a solution could be found?
