A very pleasant place. The Camembert and tuna belly were a real treat. As for the two waiters, they were attentive and kind.

I had lunch there with some friends and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the steak tartare, which I really loved. The terrace was packed, but there was hardly any wait, and the service was excellent. Honestly, the prices were very reasonable and there's nothing to complain about. Thanks, Bar du Palais! I'll be back for the burger.

We had a wonderful lunch on the terrace, right on the pedestrian street, but not too noisy, allowing for a pleasant conversation. The service was perfect, with no rush, so we could truly enjoy our meal. The portions were generous and delicious, all at a very reasonable price. Thank you, Bar du Palais!

Atea

20/03/2026: Excellent value for money, quiet location. Good and plentiful breakfast. Easy to find, its location south of Bayonne allows you to head towards Spain without being held up by morning traffic!
15/03/2026: Overall, I had a good stay. The room was generally pleasant. A minor point for improvement: the shower head could be checked, and adding a shower curtain would be helpful to prevent splashes in the bathroom. Thank you to Lola for her warm welcome and understanding at reception.

Chocolatier cazenave

01/09/2026: A truly beautiful chocolate factory. The chocolate bars are exquisite and hand-wrapped right in the shop. The quality is exceptional, bordering on perfection. You can enjoy a frothy cup of hot chocolate with a delicious brioche on-site. The staff is very friendly.
01/09/2026: In the old town of Bayonne, discover the temple of true chocolate, free from additives, palm oil, and hazelnuts. Forget your dietician and indulge to your heart's content... A quick visit inside is a must to appreciate the period decor!
