Chulio- Morren Boulanger sur Narbonne

I came after hearing so much about the trompe-l'œil pastries. I wanted to try the hazelnut one, but unfortunately, I was very disappointed; they don't make it anymore. So, I took the advice of the very friendly saleswoman and chose the mango. I admit it was well-made and a good pastry. But the price… €7, and it's really a small portion! While the pistachio and peanut pastries were bigger and the others a bit cheaper, the mango was truly tiny for the price. I noticed that all the pastries in the bakery are quite expensive considering their size. I don't want to downplay the pastry chefs' work, but I don't think the quality-price ratio is really reasonable. Perhaps I'll change my mind about the hazelnut one someday when it's back in stock. I still want to commend the shopkeeper for her kindness and helpful advice.

Super friendly staff, delicious sandwiches

I've been a customer here for years and I always go back without hesitation. My children and I are huge fans of their pastries, especially the almond paste goat 🐷, my absolute favorite 🤩 I even got another one today! The bread is excellent. The sandwiches are always fresh and delicious. The staff is always smiling, helpful, and friendly. I highly recommend it!

I've been a customer of Boulangerie au Blé d’Or for a long time, and I wanted to leave this review because I've tasted so many of their products over the years: bread, pastries, sandwiches, cakes, and even trompe-l'œil—and I mean everything! 😋 That's why I'll continue to go there every day! The owners and the staff are so kind, professional, and welcoming—something I've very rarely seen elsewhere. Go without hesitation; everything is excellent. You'll always be greeted with a smile and good cheer. This bakery is worth a visit and deserves to be better known. Well done to everyone for all your hard work! 👏👏👏♥️♥️♥️
