Ciarus sur Strasbourg

I stayed two nights in a female 6-people room. Overall I enjoyed my time here and would book it again - especially as a solo traveler. Here is what I liked: - the beds are comfortable, the sheets soft - the receptionists were friendly - nice location, easy to walk to from the city center and the main station. Also the neighborhood looks beautiful - the breakfast is a good selection, although expensive - we had two bathrooms in a room of 6 and stayed there with 3-4 people. That was a quite nice bathroom to person ratio - the bathrooms were clean too and looked rather modern / neutral - the other people staying in my room were very nice - I felt safe Here is what I would have preferred to be different: - there is no air conditioner in der room, it gets really hot during the day and if the night is warm too, it does not cool down, no matter how long the windows are opened. If someone has problems with heat at night I would not really recommend this place for a summer night. - you need a 1-euro coin to use the locker in the room. If I had known I would have brought one - there is no wifi in the rooms and the wifi in the rest of the building had no internet connection when I tried to connect. That could have been better

Stay in a modern design hotel but with disadvantages in hot weather. I liked the modern design the 24 hour reception. The room was at the 3rd floor and during the days we stayed it was very hot outside and we couldn’t sleep. The room wasn’t air conditioned. Also the water in bath wasn’t stable and it changed from hot to cold and reverse. Breakfast must have more variety(eg juices nutella chocolate, hot egg crambles) and more hot dishes.

A very pleasant place, the common areas are very versatile and the rooms are simple but very comfortable.

Very clean, quiet, and conveniently located near the city center in a beautiful setting. On weekends, there are usually no school groups staying in the building, so it's very quiet inside (at least it was when we were there). Excellent facilities (common rooms, bar, table tennis, luggage storage). Very friendly staff. There were five of us (over 60) and we felt very comfortable!

A wonderful experience! Excellent service despite a booking issue that was quickly resolved. Clean hotel, tasteful decor, and perfect location. Highly recommended.

We came from Belgium with a group of 39 students. The welcome was clear, and the video for students at the entrance helped set the tone and showed that the rules weren't solely ours. The hostel's location is ideal, not far from the city center yet in a quiet neighborhood. We settled into our rooms, which were spotless and immaculate! The bedding was comfortable, and everything was spotless. The meals, both breakfast and dinner, were high quality and generously portioned. We were also surprised by the variety of options at breakfast—something we've never seen before in a youth hostel. We want to emphasize the helpfulness of the staff at reception! Thank you for the warm welcome; we will definitely be back and will recommend this establishment.

Perfect for a family vacation, the rooms are spacious, clean, and well-organized. The staff is friendly, and the common areas are spacious. There's a games room. The breakfast is very good and well-organized. It has convenient on-site parking, especially since its location is ideal for walking to the city's main attractions.

It's always a pleasure to stop at the Ciarus in Strasbourg, where everything is impeccable. The staff are friendly and helpful. :-) Kudos also for the winter décor, which is very aesthetically pleasing and quite poetic!
