We chose this restaurant to celebrate our 10th anniversary, trusting the strong ratings and Michelin recognition for a truly special evening. Our reservation was at 7:00 PM, and when we arrived five to seven, the restaurant was still closed, so we had to take a short walk and return. Surprisingly, when it opened, we were the first guests to arrive. Earlier that morning, I had sent an email explaining that it was our anniversary and kindly asking, if possible, to write “10 years” on the dessert plate as a small surprise for my husband. When I discreetly mentioned this to the lady who I believe is one of the owners, she told me she hadn’t checked the emails that day. Unfortunately, she didn’t make any effort to review the message at that moment, which was disappointing, especially given the occasion. During the evening, something in the restaurant triggered my (dust) allergy. As I didn’t have my medication with me, I felt uncomfortable throughout most of the dinner and couldn’t properly enjoy the dishes beyond the first course. We chose the five-course menu, expecting a memorable culinary experience in line with a Michelin-level restaurant. While the presentation was refined and the egg yolk dish stood out as truly exceptional, the remaining courses felt rather regular and did not leave a lasting impression. Given the reputation and expectations, we were hoping for flavors that were more distinctive and surprising. In a restaurant of this concept and reputation, one also expects the service to feel genuinely warm and attentive. Unfortunately, the hospitality felt somewhat artificial and rehearsed rather than sincere. Perhaps it was simply an off evening — I cannot be sure — but this was the impression it left on us. For such a meaningful celebration, we had hoped for an experience that felt more special, more polished, and more heartfelt.

We went for my birthday. A warm atmosphere, a table near the fireplace, refined, succulent, and delicate dishes, and a superb wine pairing. From the amuse-bouches to the cheese course and dessert… not a single flaw. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience great Italian cuisine. Thank you!

I booked a table at Ciasa Mia on The Fork to celebrate my partner's birthday. From the ambiance to the service and the food, everything was perfect. It's a calm and intimate restaurant, ideal for a romantic evening. The restaurant itself is warmly decorated. The service is attentive and quick without being rushed. We opted for the tasting menu and wine pairing, which I highly recommend. Each dish was a discovery and a surprise, and you could feel the passion in every explanation. I was worried we'd still be hungry after the meal, but I was completely wrong; I was surprised by the number of dishes we were able to try. The couple even brought dessert with a birthday candle for my partner, as my message on The Fork specified the occasion for the reservation. I didn't even need to remind them. It's these kinds of little details that illustrate the care this couple puts into everything they do. All this to say that we had a wonderful evening! Thank you, it was delicious.
