The food was just okay. Nothing extraordinary. The fish soup was mediocre. The grilled meat was decent. The tarte tatin was a reconstruction of something edible, but its composition and presentation were incomprehensible.

It's true that, just steps from the port, you might think it's a tourist trap. However, we had a very good meal. The set menu was €27, including a starter, main course, and dessert. For starters, the tuna tataki was excellent and perfectly seasoned. This was followed by baby squid and carpaccio. The portions were genuinely generous, and you really can't expect anything more from such dishes. For dessert, profiteroles. Again, nothing to complain about: homemade choux pastry and homemade chocolate. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

What a find! We were delighted by this restaurant on the Socoa harbor. Exceptional value for money: a starter, main course, and dessert for €27, with excellent ingredients and perfectly cooked dishes. The tuna tataki with Thai sauce was delicious, the hake fillet was excellent, and the profiteroles and Basque cake were simply incredible! Everything is homemade, and you can taste the difference, no doubt about it. Plus, we were greeted with smiles and genuine warmth, and the terrace is truly lovely.
It's a gem, the kind you rarely find anymore!

Good restaurant, accessible for people with reduced mobility, friendly service and waitresses. The bluefin tuna and baby squid were very good. We went there 3 times in 15 days!

Socoa is a very pleasant spot, this little port. We tried this restaurant where I thoroughly enjoyed the hake Spanish style, however, 100 to 120 grams for a hake fillet is a bit small. I got hungry again very quickly. A shame.
