28/05/2026: A restaurant in the beautiful little Basque village of Ciboure, a warm welcome and a sensational meal. I loved the fried smelts as a starter, followed by grilled calamari 🦑, a real treat, and to finish, a Basque cake. EVERYTHING IS HOMEMADE. Don't hesitate! 👏👏👍🏻

Homemade cuisine; the baby squid are more than excellent, and the homemade profiteroles are a pure delight. A must-try!

10/11/2025: A wonderful discovery at the end of October 2025! It's lovely to be able to stop for a meal in a nice little place while walking to Fort Socoa. The waitress who greeted and served us was very friendly and welcoming. We had mussels and fries, which were delicious, with a generous cone of fries. I highly recommend this place.

A menu that promises a dream, but the dishes weren't available. The service was appalling, incredibly slow, and completely disorganized: the side dishes arrived 15 minutes after the main courses! Some dishes were very small considering the price (the baby squid, for example). And the icing on the cake: a cockroach crawling out of the bread basket! All this for over €200, no less!

Located on the oceanfront and a short walk from the Ciboure lighthouse.
The interior has a rustic, old-fashioned feel.

29/12/2025: Terrible experience.
The Nicolas wine merchant was unpleasant, condescending, and disrespectful. I was spoken to rudely even though I spent €50 on a bottle of wine and was simply asking for advice.
This isn't the first time I've experienced this behavior. Perhaps he was in a bad mood that day, but that in no way excuses such a lack of professionalism.
In 2025, this is unacceptable. I will not be returning.

11/04/2026: Fabulous confit lamb, perfectly preserving the flavor of the accompanying vegetables... a truly delightful experience. Plus, genuine interaction with the waiter and chef, who were friendly, engaging, and sincere. A place to discover, or rediscover.

Déjeuner en terrasse au soleil avec vue sur le fort de Socoa… La pariada Royale était vraiment composée d’excellents produits frais, goûteux et juteux ! La cuisson parfaitement maîtrisée, le homard bleu, les gros gambas, grosses langoustines et le merlu étaient un vrai bonheur pour nos papilles ! Et les desserts divins ! Le gâteau Basque à la pistache et le baba au rhum étaient succulents ! Le frais, le fait maison, les produits nobles , de qualité et d’une extrême fraîcheur ! Nous avons hâte de revenir pour goûter la poulpe !! Sans oublier L’adorable serveuse ! Merci à toute l’équipe pour ce merveilleux moment. À très vite..
01/12/2024: Très bon restaurant, plats délicieux, mais service un peu long. Nous avons attendu le dessert 40 mn et sommes finalement partis sans l avoir mangé. .
