03/10/2026: After tasting Egiaetgia wine at the cellar, we stopped for lunch. A generous portion of prawns (6) and an excellent fish soup (rivaling the best bouillabaisse in Marseille) followed by substantial desserts. The service was quick and efficient. A peaceful atmosphere on the Socoa harbor.
02/10/2026: Delicious seafood platter for a special occasion. The only downside was the service; it was very busy and they forgot about us.

04/10/2026: The food was just okay. Nothing extraordinary. The fish soup was mediocre. The grilled meat was decent. The tarte tatin was a reconstruction of something edible, but its composition and presentation were incomprehensible.

10/11/2025: A wonderful discovery at the end of October 2025! It's lovely to be able to stop for a meal in a nice little place while walking to Fort Socoa. The waitress who greeted and served us was very friendly and welcoming. We had mussels and fries, which were delicious, with a generous cone of fries. I highly recommend this place.

04/10/2026: The hardest part about La Nivelle golf is finding a tee time.
The system requires calling 48 hours in advance.
A week before, the reception told me that Tuesday afternoon would be available, but I had to call back on Sunday to confirm.
But on Sunday, nothing was possible because the course was booked all week.
How is it possible that three days prior, the reception wasn't aware that the course was inaccessible all week?
I don't recommend this golf course, not because of the course itself, which is quite nice, but because of the rather unprofessional service.
Unless La Nivelle simply doesn't want to be burdened with green fees.
We'll go elsewhere.

19/07/2026: I didn't have the bad experiences some people have. There were four of us, and we ordered four ice creams to go (delicious). Yes, they don't accept credit cards, but it's clearly stated, so there's no point in complaining...
