When we ordered using a Deliveroo offer (buy one get one free), which only allowed for two identical meals (same muffin, same drink), the staff kindly agreed to change the contents of the meals after we called, despite the "limitation" imposed by the Deliveroo platform. A very good experience, we were delighted!

Another one... Never disappointed with Columbus Café!!!! The Columbus menu (hot chocolate + speculoos muffin) is perfect for winter. I highly recommend it!!!

Always a fantastic welcome! And I go there often! The coffees and muffins are delicious! Absolutely mouthwatering! 🐻💕 The staff are all lovely there. For a break during a long or difficult day, or even just to relax, it's the perfect place! Dogs are welcome too, which is a huge plus! I highly recommend Columbus and I even think it's one of the best spots in Aix (:) Plenty of space and even air conditioning in the summer. A true paradise (:)

Friendly and smiling staff. Unique and pleasant place. The drinks were good. Service was a little slow and they quickly became overwhelmed, but the wait was reasonable.

Delicious pastries, especially the famous pecan square. The coffees aren't Starbucks quality, but they're close. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The restrooms, however, leave much to be desired; regular cleaning should help.

Brasserie de la Mairie

27/03/2026: Fantastic welcome. Always a great atmosphere and attentive service. The cocktail selection and music are perfect for a great time in the heart of Aix.
24/03/2026: Brasserie de la Mairie is a wonderful spot with a very relaxed atmosphere. I absolutely loved the French Onion Soup and the Croque Monsieur, as both were prepared perfectly. The service is fast and friendly, which makes for a great dining experience. I honestly do not understand why some people claim the French are snooty, as we found them to be the loveliest folks on earth. It is definitely a good idea to go for brunch instead of a later meal, as the place gets really busy around lunchtime. The location is perfect, looking right out into the Fontaine de l'eau bénite, which adds a charming backdrop to your meal. This is a must visit if you are looking for a classic and welcoming brasserie experience in the heart of Aix-en-Provence.
