Very pretty pastry shop and tea room, we were very well received, the staff were smiling. If we can, I think we will come back to try the pistachio flan which we unfortunately did not have time to taste... Although a little expensive, but it's worth it.

A must stop. It has a well deserved fame and I recommend to stop, have a coffee or tea and try one (or more) of their pastries. We tried the croisants, cake and pain o chocolat. All delicious.

The lounge is very beautiful and the pastry is of high quality BUT what a disappointment when we came yesterday for a tasting on site: the fabric medallion chairs were stained with various and varied stains, the "corner" where we were installed (and which we had to leave for another table) reeked of very suspicious odors! (Which we reported to the server). Our snack was therefore spoiled despite good quality products. Furthermore, our request for a carafe of water was not honored, which is illegal under the law.... In short, not sure I'll go back!

Externally a beautiful and inviting pastry shop. We ate two chocolate éclairs: good. BUT: almost non-existent and confusing service. Neglected environment: my seat was broken (I practically fell into it) in addition to the fact that all the chairs are very dirty (I attach photos). Sin! It's potentially a good pastry shop.

Passing through on the return trip to Caen then Paris, I absolutely wanted to stop by your pastry shop! Thank you for your warm welcome! I will remember this “potato” with almond paste, chocolate and rum! Excellent! Little pigs 🐖 delicious too! Difficult to make a choice! I highly recommend foodies to come here!

Nous avons pris notre petit déjeuner à la Reine Mathilde . La boutique est magnifique, la vitrine superbe , le personnel très accueillant et arrangeant . Et le petit déjeuner que dire …. Excellent, très varié : du jus d’orange frais, de la confiture du pain, café ou thé au choix, croissant pain au chocolat et des petits fruits frais, framboises et myrtilles, un délice tout simplement. Je vous la recommande si vous passez à Bayeux

24/01/2026: A wonderful time! The owner was kind enough to let us blow out two candles while singing "Happy Birthday," in a festive and thoughtful atmosphere. The tagliatelle with scallops and pickled red cabbage were delicious, and the desserts were excellent. A warm and delightful interlude.
04/01/2026: An excellent restaurant in Bayeux. Domesday is ideally located right next to the cathedral. The restaurant is run directly by the owner, who is very professional, which is immediately apparent in the organization and the welcome. The menu features a wide variety of local dishes, well-prepared and true to regional tradition. The service is quick and efficient, perfect even during busy periods, and the prices are very reasonable considering the quality and location. A sure bet in Bayeux, highly recommended.
