Very pretty pastry shop and tea room, we were very well received, the staff were smiling.
If we can, I think we will come back to try the pistachio flan which we unfortunately did not have time to taste...
Although a little expensive, but it's worth it.

A must stop. It has a well deserved fame and I recommend to stop, have a coffee or tea and try one (or more) of their pastries. We tried the croisants, cake and pain o chocolat. All delicious.

The lounge is very beautiful and the pastry is of high quality BUT what a disappointment when we came yesterday for a tasting on site: the fabric medallion chairs were stained with various and varied stains, the "corner" where we were installed (and which we had to leave for another table) reeked of very suspicious odors! (Which we reported to the server).
Our snack was therefore spoiled despite good quality products.
Furthermore, our request for a carafe of water was not honored, which is illegal under the law....
In short, not sure I'll go back!

Externally a beautiful and inviting pastry shop. We ate two chocolate éclairs: good. BUT: almost non-existent and confusing service. Neglected environment: my seat was broken (I practically fell into it) in addition to the fact that all the chairs are very dirty (I attach photos). Sin! It's potentially a good pastry shop.

Nous avons pris notre petit déjeuner à la Reine Mathilde .
La boutique est magnifique, la vitrine superbe , le personnel très accueillant et arrangeant .
Et le petit déjeuner que dire …. Excellent, très varié : du jus d’orange frais, de la confiture du pain, café ou thé au choix, croissant pain au chocolat et des petits fruits frais, framboises et myrtilles, un délice tout simplement.
Je vous la recommande si vous passez à Bayeux
