White table clothes, formal menu , delicious food & presentation. Only problem is the service is similar to a diner with table left with empty bottles, paper wrappers from silverware, and runners announcing who got what meal, and passing food across the table. 🤣

Absolutely great food in a very rustic authentic beautiful restaurant. Probably one of the best meals I have had in France. An absolute delight to visit. I recommend a reservation since the restaurant was fully booked over a three day cors.

The black fish with curry sauce was amazing. I had the special salad with legumes, fruit, multi veggies- it was fresh and the best salad I have ever had! The oysters were fantastic and briny. The creme brulee was so smooth and rich. The apple tart was special with a great tasting ice cream on top. Highly recommend this restaurant!

I reserved Le Pommier due to May 1 being a holiday in France. I found the service outstanding, the food amazing and the atmosphere enjoyable for a single diner. Thank you for welcoming me into your establishment.

03/06/2026: A magnificent late 19th-century tea room with superb decor. The pastries are delicious, the Paris-Brest is excellent, the Jesuit cake is decadent, and the macarons are divine. A must-visit if you're in Bayeux. Exemplary service, thank you for this wonderful experience, and congratulations to the entire team.
27/05/2026: A beautiful bakery, pastry shop, and cafe with a very good selection, very friendly service, and fair prices. The croissants are sensational.

07/05/2026: Nothing to write home about. Everything is edible. Prices are perfectly reasonable. Just don't expect anything special. The pizza was good but very bland. The crème brûlée was cold and definitely not freshly made. There's better food in the area.
06/05/2026: A great place we return to every year, the owner is very kind and the food is excellent.
