Coquille sur Montpellier

Had lunch here, friendly helpful staff, great service and good food.

I went there expecting a lobster roll, a New York specialty (lobster served in toasted brioche bun), but I ended up with lobster rillettes. It would be good to correct the menu and specify this, as it's misleading. Otherwise, it was tasty, but nowhere near a lobster roll.

A wonderful discovery! The manager is absolutely lovely, the welcome was very warm, and she takes excellent care of her customers. Thank you again for all the thoughtful touches, and especially for the lollipops she gave my son—it was so sweet and he was thrilled! 🥰 I'll definitely be back!

A pleasant meal at La Coquille. The burrata with raspberry is an original combination, balancing the creaminess of the cheese with the tartness of the raspberry. The parsley-seasoned frog legs are well-cooked, served with a fresh salad and decent fries. The lobster roll (brioche, lobster, mayonnaise) is quite successful in terms of flavor, with a generous amount of lobster and a carrot and red cabbage salad that adds a nice crunch. It's a shame, however, that the brioche isn't opened and filled inside: it's simply placed next to the filling, which somewhat detracts from the "roll" concept. A minor point about the tarte tatin: a scoop of ice cream on the side would have been a nice touch. A pity. Another negative point: the price of the carafe of wine, €25 for 75cl. Overall, very good food, a lovely shaded terrace, and very pleasant staff. I will return.

Shaded terrace. Friendly welcome. Efficient service. We ordered the dish of the day (couscous). Good and generous portion, excellent value for money.
