Just had a drink. Like Irish pubs everywhere. Lots of wood, dark, chaotic but cozy. I love it.

Very nice Irish-style pub. I had an excellent sausage and mash platter, which was very filling (in fact, I couldn't finish it!). We were also lucky enough to hear some live music, as there was a band playing that evening.

In Paris for the weekend and stumbled on this authentic Irish pub in time to watch Ireland beat England in tbe six nations. Great atmosphere and good glass of guiness. Also, great seeing Irish staff working behind the bar!!!..

A bit high up on the Montmartre stairs. Nice evening with a music quiz. The service lacked a smile. The Pigalle location is nicer.

We lunched here on a Tuesday. Excellent salads, great stout and friendly service, in French, English or Irish. It was a quiet day with only 3 patrons; what are the chances of three aussies all being in the very same Irish pub in Paris on the very same day?

17/03/2026: L'Escale is the kind of "Formica" café we love and that makes us feel comfortable. It's a place where you feel good. There's a warm, friendly atmosphere, conversations between neighbors and friendly tourists, and delicious dishes prepared by an English chef (I think), always of very high quality. The Sunday chicken is a real treat! In short, I'm a very happy neighbor! Well done for what you've done with this café; it's unlike any other in the neighborhood 🙏
