Cot' et Boeuf sur Cesson-Sevigne

A restaurant we tried about ten years ago. The homemade fries are still just as good! The scallops were perfectly seared. The €36 set menu is very generous and offers a nice selection of dishes. My family tried the veggie salad, which was a real success. There were many vegetarian options, but none for vegans... Our various servers were very friendly, and despite three items being missing (one salad, one mozzarella, and one crème brûlée), they tried to find a solution. The crème brûlée wasn't lukewarm, though (a shame), and the foie gras was a bit bland (it all depends on your taste): brioche toast with just a slice of foie gras on top would have been perfect. The prices are a bit high, but in my opinion, justified. The service was a little slow, however, and our neighbors, who were on their phones too often, were a bit annoying... Nevertheless, a very pleasant family meal.

Just about adequate for a business lunch. The service was inconsistent, the waiter wasn't very friendly, and the food wasn't cooked properly.

Excellent restaurant, a wonderful experience. Even though some items were missing from the menu, the team was quick to adapt and offer alternatives without causing any frustration. We had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The staff is always attentive and responsive, regularly taking the time to ensure everything is going smoothly.

Very good Thai vegetarian salad. Large parking lot, but you can hear street noise when you're sitting on the terrace. Quick service, but one waiter was pushy about dessert.

We ate there on Friday, June 5, 2026. We had a wonderful time; the welcome, the service, and the meal were all excellent. We highly recommend it.

First time here and very satisfied! The andouillette was perfect and the apple dessert was excellent! The only slight drawback was the fries: while very good, there weren't many long fries, just chunks of them… (the same for everyone at the table…) I'll be back!

What can I say... the only word that comes to mind is sublime... superb setting, pleasant, kind, and above all, smiling waiters... let's talk about the food... duck breast, not slices, but a whole breast cooked to perfection. My husband had the burger of the moment, which he devoured, and of course, homemade fries... I recommend it 1000%! Here are a few photos to share with you... for dessert, it was a coffee tiramisu, which he devoured before taking the picture.

When you walk into the restaurant, the welcome is perfect, the smell of the wood fire is wonderful, so you're eager to try the dishes! I ordered a steak, and that's where the disappointment begins. The meat was so elastic, it was incredibly difficult to cut! And don't even get me started on eating and chewing it; I regretted it afterward and should have sent it back. I really hoped I wouldn't get sick during the night. I mentioned it when I went to pay, but there wasn't much of a reaction! No indigestion, everything turned out fine, but seriously, I've never eaten meat so elastic and tough! For this reason, my opinion is frankly mixed. I'm not sure I'll go back.
