Cote Loire - Mercure Hotel sur Nevers

A perfect location very close to the Loire as well as the city center, for this Mercure. There is a magnificent terrace where you can enjoy an excellent breakfast... Excellent scrambled eggs, freshly squeezed orange juice, good pastries and a large selection of Nespressos. The right recipe to start the day off right. Spacious and very quiet rooms. We sleep well there.

We come for the splendid view of the Loire. And for breakfast on the terrace. The building itself is a bit decrepit. But the rooms are what you expect from a hotel. four stars: comfortable.

Very beautiful and in an excellent position to visit the center of the town which has nothing important beyond the sanctuary where Bernadette is exhibited

Apart from the bathroom which deserves a refresh, the joints are blackening and could be more attentive care on cleaning the tiles in the bathroom everything was perfect from the reception to the service and the location facing the Loire plus the royal fireworks we will be back.

Probably linked to the situation in Nièvre, but not at the level of the brand Pleasant location on the banks of the Loire, satisfactory level of comfort at least for soundproofing exterior noise (interior noise is something else) No catering on weekends, no room service Welcome drinks linked to status but... no bar therefore no drinks Too bad it could have been much better
