Côté Mas sur Montagnac

We had booked an overnight stay in the suite, a wine tasting and dinner. The hardware is great in everything, the suite is very nicely decorated, breakfast the next morning in the dining kitchen was very pleasant and since we were alone in the house, we enjoyed having breakfast there in our pajamas. However, there was one thing that ran through all the stages of our stay; professional, cool and distant. Nothing was loving or personal let alone romantic. The check in was friendly but impersonal. We were escorted into the suite and the young man helped with the luggage, which we thought was really nice. Routine small talk, But what was missing, for example, was the warmth and the joy of seeing a guest. The wine tasting was very professional but also very routine at the beginning (by the same young man). It would have been nice to know his name, to introduce himself. After some time, my husband cracked the gentleman (through interest and lots of questions) and he became natural and charming, but that took time. The service in the evening was routine and quick. No feeling that there was anything special about being there. The tables were very minimally stocked, with a knife, fork, serving and a glass. Unfortunately no set, a small flower or candle. Although the ambience in the room was nice, you felt like customer number "xy" Here, too, the staff was polite, cool, distant, we missed warmth, recommendations, attention and naturalness, Apparently the staff didn't realize that we had already paid for everything in advance as we kept asking about it. The fact that I said when making the reservation that it was my birthday that I was celebrating there was either not communicated or was completely ignored. The suite was, as I said, nice, but it lacked many small details to really feel comfortable. A cosmetic mirror, a flower, a bit of decoration would have been nice, and we would also have appreciated a corkscrew to open the wine on offer. We found it a shame as it wouldn't take much to turn this beautiful gite and restaurant into a wonderful experience for the guest.

It would be more honest to announce that the menu only presents one possibility and that if one of the items is not suitable... obligation to go to the menu. Card which offers little choice and quite prohibitive prices. For an establishment that only receives reservations, this is astonishing management. The place is beautiful, the service pleasant... too bad!!!

The market menu at €39 was very good, however the à la carte prices are prohibitive and the taste and value for money of the products are not there. 18€ for a single prawn in a brick leaf, fortunately the pomegranate and other citrus fruits spice things up a bit. 35 € for the Cochon coast... The young lady serving her was very professional and the place could have predicted something better. Disappointed with our experience given the glowing comments

Dîner du nouvel an entre amis , buffet avec énormément de choix , personnel incroyable autant en salle qu’en cuisine ma femme est enceinte et n’a eu quasiment aucune restriction alimentaire grâce à la gentillesse du chef, tout était parfait du buffet au vins servi. Adresse incroyable personnel d’une gentillesse comme on en retrouve rarement. Je recommande cette établissement les yeux fermés.

Cuisine délicieuse avec de très bon vins pour accompagner chacun des plats. Le cadre est magnifique, nous reviendrons !

Nous avons fait confiance au menu à 65€ en cinq plats, à recommander sans hésitation (avec une carte des vins très accessible.

Nous avons passé une soirée très agréable, le personnel est accueillant et à notre écoute. Le chef a répondu aux attentes vegetariennes de ma fille. Nous recommandons cette table , De plus le lieu est magnifique situé au milieu des vignes. Bravo à tous
