This restaurant offers a wide variety of flavors using fresh, seasonal ingredients. The beautiful shaded terrace overlooks the Saône River. The staff are friendly and welcoming. And to top it all off, we were allowed in at 9 pm! A must-try! 👍

Beautiful setting, extremely gracious and pleasant staff. We booked for our wedding anniversary and were given a table set back a bit, perfect for a quiet romantic dinner with a lovely view of the water – a great location. The meal was excellent, and the service was quick. I highly recommend it and we'll be back.

A wonderful time! Lunch by the Saône River in the shade of the plane trees was so pleasant. The meal was excellent (the frog legs were fantastic), the staff were very welcoming and friendly, and the service was impeccable. It's an hour and twenty minutes away by car, but we'll be back!

Excellent and welcoming. A very pleasant time enjoying the cool air by the Saône River. Everything was perfect, from the welcome and the service to the quality of the food. The hand-cut steak tartare was truly perfect, seasoned to perfection, served with skin-on potatoes and a fresh, flavorful salad. And the Timut pepper panna cotta was a real revelation. The service team was truly excellent. I will be back.

18/07/2026: We stayed one night at the campsite in Thoissey while passing through. Because we had poor service and food at our campsite in the afternoon, we decided to go to the village. We stopped at Colisée there because we saw a nice photo of the terrace on Google. It has a nice and cozy terrace. The pizzas were delicious and the service was friendly. They don't speak English there, but they do everything to help you. The terrace is pleasant, cozy, and romantic. We did have to wait a while to pay. It was very busy and there were only two people serving, whereas at the beginning there was only one. The ice cream was served slightly melted, but it was still tasty. Quite expensive for ice cream with sauce though, 7.50 per scoop. Vanilla ice cream with sauce of your choice. You can also get takeout there.
