We've been coming for 5 years and are delighted with this restaurant. The welcome is always with a smile, the couscous is delicious, and the owner comes around to each table to make sure everything is alright. The best couscous around, for many years now. We're always warmly welcomed, the couscous is delicious and plentiful, and the owner even comes around to refill our plates! Pair it with a good bottle of Boulaouane wine, and everything is perfect. P.S.: We always ask for the semolina with cinnamon and raisins; it's absolutely delicious. Thank you!

The worst couscous I've ever eaten. The semolina was tasteless; semolina should be seasoned, not like a can of Garbit where you just pour water over it, cover it, and it's ready in five minutes. The vegetables were flavorless; a little ras el hanout would have enhanced the taste. It took half an hour to get the dessert menu, only to end up not ordering any. The cook came to the dining room to ask if everything was alright, but if you taste what you're cooking, your palate will tell you it needs seasoning, especially since spices are hardly in short supply in North Africa. I could have given it only one star, but I'm giving it three to encourage the cook to stay in the kitchen and taste what he's preparing instead of coming around to the customers and making them uncomfortable! Because out of politeness, a civilized and considerate customer will say that everything is fine.
