A wonderful discovery in the heart of old Sarlat! We had a fantastic time at this restaurant, both for the quality of the food and the warm, authentic atmosphere. The dishes were flavorful, generous, and prepared with great care. A true delight for the taste buds! A special mention goes to Maela, our waitress, who was absolutely charming. Her welcome, her smile, her attentiveness, and her professionalism greatly contributed to making our meal even more enjoyable. The table service was efficient, attentive, and very friendly. The setting, in the heart of the beautiful narrow streets of old Sarlat, also adds a great deal of charm to the experience. A typical, convivial, and characterful atmosphere that truly invites you to slow down and savor the moment. An address we wholeheartedly recommend! We will gladly return on our next visit to Sarlat. 👏🍽️

The welcome was good, though we waited for a table for two. Once seated, after ordering an aperitif, they wanted to serve us the starter before the aperitif, but then the starter was sent back to the kitchen (?) and the aperitif was served. Three minutes later, the starter reappeared, served rather abruptly. The baked egg was okay, and the gizzard salad was average. Having ordered a rare butcher's cut, it was a bit overcooked to be rare. Another cut was sent back to the kitchen. A third was brought back: tough and fatty, we wondered if it was some kind of punishment! The Cantal sauce was grainy. Fortunately, the dessert was good. We know, we're "baignoutes" (a slang term for "sweaters"), as they say on Oléron, but still.

We were greeted and served promptly despite the busy market day. Furthermore, I found the offerings very tempting. As a vegetarian, I know it's not always easy, and I was served incredibly delicious vegetable lasagna – I thoroughly enjoyed it! The staff is very pleasant. I highly recommend it, and if I return to the area, I will definitely come back to this restaurant.

Excellent restaurant! We went as a couple and were served quite quickly without being rushed, and the meal was delicious. Plus, the atmosphere in the little alley was great. I highly recommend it.

The service was rushed. The tasting menu was €25 to start, and we were surprised to be charged an extra €5.50 for the second course. A 10cl glass of wine was charged as 15cl on the bill. This was all very unprofessional.

We had a very pleasant time at this quiet restaurant in a courtyard, a rather unusual and very pretty spot. We ate very well, with one small complaint about the children's menu: only two duck breast fillets, which was a bit meager, and my son finished his meal with bread. One more fillet would have been more appropriate. Aside from that, the dishes were of very high quality, and it was a nice touch to have homemade desserts. Thank you very much!

Splendid!!! Top-notch service and welcome. We had a truly wonderful meal, the service was quick, the children were very well looked after… the products are high quality and the price reasonable, the atmosphere is warm and the decor is really lovely.

We went there in August, during the summer season. The person who convinced us to go to this restaurant and not another was very friendly, smiling, and welcoming (I'll come back to that later...). As for the food, the portions were perfect, neither too small nor too much. The cooking was spot on, and the flavor was there. Plus, they used fresh ingredients 👌 (we were told, and it certainly seemed so). In short, a good time (although some light background music would have been appreciated). We went down to pay the bill and were greeted by our friend from earlier. The same one? I wasn't sure, but it was, except this time, when I told him my table number, he handed me the card machine without a glance, not a word (oh yes, "that'll be €95.."), not even a smile. In short, this gentleman, whom I think is the manager, grabs the customer, sells them a dream, and takes the money. The friendly atmosphere was completely gone. I felt like I'd been ripped off... So, very mixed feelings about this place. I forgot to mention that the service was perfect, well done ladies! 👌
