Finally, I'm writing to give you a glowing review for the two wonderful moments we spent together in June under the Sarlat sun and warmth! ♥️ Excellent service and pure bliss on the plate! So much warmth outside, but also in our hearts! We'll be back, that's a promise! 🤩 Maxime, I haven't forgotten that you're planning to hire me next April 😉😉

A family tradition, we dine in Sarlat every year on our way to our holidays. And La Cour des Poètes might just become our new tradition! A warm and humorous welcome, a delicious dinner, and our dog, greeted with genuine hospitality, left with a doggy bag prepared in the kitchen. She loved it, you can be sure of that! Thank you on her behalf! A definite 5 stars!

While wandering down a side street, we stumbled upon this restaurant in the heart of the historic center. The welcome was warm and the atmosphere exceptional. The cuisine was traditional, simple yet high quality. Thank you for a wonderful time at your establishment.

We received a very warm welcome from Lawrence, whose humor and good cheer immediately put us at ease. The service was top-notch, delivered with professionalism and in a friendly atmosphere. A big thank you to all the waiters and waitresses. The appetizers and main courses, prepared with local ingredients, were delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal! Congratulations also to the chefs for their excellent work. We recommend this restaurant without hesitation: the quality is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. A wonderful discovery of this restaurant during our visit to Sarlat! We had a very good meal; we opted for the €21.80 set menu. The three courses were delicious; it was so good that a little more on the plate would have been a bonus! But that doesn't detract from the well-deserved 5 stars. ** We returned to this restaurant during our short week's holiday in the region (June 16, 2026), and I was very keen to dine there again. We had already dined at this restaurant in 2022, and it was just as good and flavorful as ever. We chose the €24.80 set menu, and frankly, we weren't disappointed. The starter was a gizzard salad, the main course was cassoulet, and the dessert was crème brûlée. The owner is as friendly and welcoming as ever. In short, a lovely little dinner in this magnificent town. I think this restaurant will be a must-visit if we return to the region.
