This was my first time in France. I came to Riquewihr specifically to experience something really French and tasty and Au Vieux Pressoir did not disappoint. The crepe as you can see in the picture was excellent. It was with chocolate and bananas. The staff were really polite and friendly and didn't mind correcting my almost non-existant French! On that note, in this town as well as the other towns in the area, I found the people rather polite and not what I was expecting when I had thought of France and its people! The wood caught my attention in this charming cafe and thus why I decided to include these pictures. It's a warm welcoming wood and it further enhanced the eating experience. I definitely recommend Au Vieux Pressoir for a snack or perhaps even a meal! It's refreshing to see a place that sees a high influx of tourists but still maintains the French quality that we expect. The food was delicious. The crêpes were amazing, and we really enjoyed the quiche Lorraine. But without a doubt, the best part was the service. The waitress who served us was lovely: very kind and attentive.

My husband, daughter, and I ate here yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed the Munster cheese crêpes. The staff is very pleasant, and the waitresses are always smiling. We highly recommend this lovely place.
