Creperie Basque sur Cauterets

We came across this creperie by chance where you feel like your grandparents are in the countryside. The very charming lady welcomed us with a smile. Excellent value for money 👍🏼 The crepes are good, I recommend

A charming little creperie, full of regulars. The slightest interaction is done with a big smile, it’s very pleasant. The pancakes are simple and delicious.

It felt a bit like we were eating at my grandma’s place, if my grandma was French. The food felt homemade and the lady working was working the kitchen and doing service. Despite the fact that she was doing everything by herself, we didn’t have to wait long and she refilled our bread, brought the next course, etc without us having to ask. The atmosphere was relaxed and the price was super honest: €13 for soup, (good) prosciutto with melon, a piece of meat and a side of veggies, and a dessert. We were so full by the end of it despite expending so much energy on the GR10. Always eating out can get old, but this felt like we were eating at home. Good food, amazing prices, homey feel. The clientele seems to be made of only locals too, which is always nice.

We had the menu of the day, everything was exceptionally good, like a perfect homemade meal. The price was even crazier, 13 euros for wine, soup, entree, plat and dessert. Best spot for lunch in town!

Very good value for money Simple but good home cooking

A very pleasant little lady who has run this creperie for 40 years quickly understood why the portions are generous and very good.

Small creperie run by a lady who manages service and cooking. We were almost alone, quick service, very good pancakes and pancakes. Unbeatable price. We’ll just do without the news in the background, but nothing serious 😉

Very very delicious crepes, both sweet and savory. Pretty good price compared to the area. Of course, go early because they take a while to serve since it's all managed by a single woman.
