Very nice little restaurant.
The food is delicious.
The boss is pleasant, always there for her customer.
Small negative detail, no message on the answering machine during closing days and holidays.
I highly recommend.

Dinner here on a set menu during the festival in Chinon. Limited choice on their set menu, but the food was good.
One point off for the prices - one small salad starter, a galette and a crepe were €24 each, which seems steep. Might have been a special price for the festivities though.
C'est dans cette petite rue typique que nous avons découvert cette crêperie d'apparence innocente et là, la meilleure galette nous attendait ! Un véritable régal grâce à la garniture abondante et à la cuisson parfaite. Dessert excellent également. Ajoutez à ceci le service impeccable et l'amabilité tout cela fait un magnifique souvenir.

Context: we are a couple based in the Paris region and working in Paris.
And I think that those in our case will understand that a good creperie in Paris is very hard to find.
This Restaurant is a favorite.
Craving a crepe one lunchtime in Chinon, we came across this restaurant on the way down from the fortress.
Pleasant welcome with a smile, nice restaurant, with contextual music.
The menu offers Galette, Gratin and Salad and homemade posters.
I had a potato chorizo. It was very good, the pancake is very very good, the ingredients just as good, and the pancake is well filled with no "empty" in one corner.
The pancake tastes well cooked and above all NOT CRUNCHY.
Madam took a Henry 2 I think just as good.
For dessert, I had a chocolate banana. Good dark chocolate, so rare, in Paris it's generally chocolate in a disgusting can.
My wife had a Bretonne (caramelized salted butter caramel apples).
The apples are perfectly caramelized, the caramel is excellent. All served hot. DIVINE
We leave the restaurant happy and surprised, because in Paris we generally leave creperies feeling disgusted and hungry.
The same evening, we hesitated with gourmet restaurants but I must admit that the idea of having Bretonne for dessert was too strong :p
So we returned to the restaurant to taste the other offerings besides Galette.
So I took a Creamy Lardon Potato Gratin but without cheese (being intolerant), no problem for the chef who accepted.
My wife had a Gésier Gargantua salad
The "Gratin" is very good, the potatoes cut into very small cubes and the cream not in excess allows you to have a fairly light dish for the evening.
The bacon was not too salty or too smokey. So really a very good dish.
The Gargantua salad was poor but I will come back to it later...
For dessert I have a Bretonne which, I confirm, is my favorite sweet pancake from now on.
Madame took the chocolate pear. Very good too. The crepe batter is very good.
The fact that we came back a second time on the same day allowed us to chat with the young chef and her mother.
It's a family affair, the cooking is homemade and you can see it because part of the kitchen faces the first room.
You can feel the love and motivation put into this restaurant and it's a pleasure to see and hear.
So yes, these are “simple” dishes, but they are well made, mastered and that is becoming rare.
The discussion ends in a joke with a “See you tomorrow”.
Well the next day, after a long day at the Zoo, I wasn't very hungry I wanted to eat light.
Anyway, when the evening came, we went back because I would have liked a salad, and the Gargantua was really good.
And this salad is more than good, it's perfect. Composition, Seasoning, sauce. I have nothing to say about it.
It is difficult to say that we are putting a simple salad on a pedestal but when we know the Parisian salads between 17 and 25 balls with 5 ingredients thrown in at random...
Anyway, all that to say that this Crêperie is excellent!
Hospitality, quality of dishes, sufficient quantity for a good meal and all that for an affordable price.
