Creperie du Port sur Pont-Aven

Good restaurant with a warm welcome. We chose the mussels for lunch, a good choice.

The savory crepes were sparsely filled, but given the average price, the idea is to order several. The concept itself isn't bad; it offers a change of pace with two savory crepes, although personally, I prefer a single, generously filled crepe. The sweet crepes were okay. The location is pleasant, and the food and service are decent. Nothing extraordinary, no special touch that would make it a favorite, but nothing truly bad either. A solid, average experience, as they say.

Pleasant view of the Aven River. A restaurant we used to like. Not sure we'll go back. There was one time when the salmon crêpe surprised us: a dry crêpe with a slice of salmon on top. We'd never seen anything like it: no sauce, no herbs, no cream, no salted whipped cream, nothing. We told ourselves, we won't order it again. And generally, we were satisfied. Today was the last straw: brush hairs in a crêpe, and despite a waitress telling us she'd let the kitchen know, we had another 5 cm hair in a crêpe for dessert. Pont-Aven is so crowded that this crêperie will always have customers. Perhaps they don't need to make too much of an effort. I ordered the seafood casserole, but it was really bad: the sauce was watery and tasteless, the potatoes were reheated (unbelievable and inedible), and the seafood was bland, definitely overcooked. My daughter had the salmon salad: the avocado was unripe and so hard! It's unthinkable that they would serve a customer an avocado they couldn't even cut. The crepes were very sparsely filled, leaving us wanting more.

We received a very warm welcome and had a fantastic meal, from the crepes to the dessert – we thoroughly enjoyed it! We will definitely be back. Thank you to the whole team!

A very good experience at this crêperie, which recently changed ownership. The waitstaff were pleasant and efficient. Large terrace with a view of the Aven River (even better when the weather is nice). The mussels were delicious and not tiny like you sometimes find elsewhere. A special mention for the homemade fries...a real plus! The sweet crêpe for dessert was also excellent. I recommend it.

Passing through Pont-Aven today with friends, we tried the Crêperie du Port, which has recently changed owners. The setting is very pleasant, both inside and out. Everything has just been renovated. We received a very warm welcome. For our meal, some of us tried the crêpes and others the mussels and fries. Everything is homemade, and it was excellent! We'll be back!

Beautiful view, but unfortunately the service was far too slow... the crepes were simple but cold... I don't recommend it.
