Restaurant Les Mimosas sur Pont-Aven

The food here was excellent. We had booked for one night and ended up coming three times. However, as noted in other reviews, the service is totally chaotic, sometimes quick, sometimes slow, sometimes non-existent! Worth being patient given the quality and value of the food, but someone needs to get a grip on front of house and kitchen processes and coordination.

Restaurant review: Located along the port. Easy parking. This restaurant doesn't need much more for four people. A nice, straightforward menu in a rather relaxed setting. However, the service is very inconsistent. The young man who served us repeatedly forgot what we ordered, or even made mistakes. Dirty cutlery. The food is good, except for the fish soup, which was disappointing. Set menu (starter, main course, dessert) for €39. The à la carte menu is varied but a bit pricey.

Excellent cuisine in a beautiful location in Pont-Aven, right on the harbor, away from traffic, with impeccable and friendly service. The only thing missing from our table was Inspector Dupin...

A restaurant with inventive and refined cuisine. We had an excellent time in this establishment where conviviality reigns.

This place is a gem!! It's beautiful. Our room was incredibly comfortable (quiet, clean, and with a fantastic bed). The restaurant is top-notch, using high-quality ingredients (well done, chef!!). The breakfast was generous. And, to top it all off, the staff is super friendly and professional! A superb establishment that greatly contributed to the success of our weekend in Pont-Aven. Living in Pont-Aven, I'm not familiar with the hotel. Therefore, I can only speak about the restaurant, and discovering the new menu was a wonderful surprise. The change of chef is a success, as we had an excellent meal under the guidance of this chef, whose talent and creativity I had already witnessed at another local establishment. The scallops Florentine on a bed of creamed spinach were divine, as were the langues de chat (cat's tongue cookies) with new potatoes, accompanying the flavorful and tender meat, cooked to perfection. The slice of roasted pineapple in its coconut soup provided the perfect touch of indulgence to finish this festival of flavors. Bravo! Don't hesitate, go for it! As always, the welcome was incredibly warm in a superb setting overlooking the Aven River. The prices are reasonable (around €40 without wine) for the quality of this meal, which has restored my faith in local cuisine. Thank you for that too…
