A very good meal (a real discovery with the mustard ice cream). High-quality ingredients, and consequently (understandably) a bit pricey. So, perhaps not for a quick bite (nor for a romantic dinner: the restaurant is tiny, very close together, and offers no privacy), but for truly delicious galettes, it's a must-visit.

We had a fantastic evening with friends at this little restaurant! Thanks to Nico for the amazing service and great atmosphere. The food was delicious. Personally, I especially loved the raspberry and bell pepper ice cream on the chorizo ​​galette and the lime cream for dessert. A little gem near the Parliament of Brittany – definitely worth a try! Expect to pay €25-35 per person.

We've known La Gavotte since 2015, and it used to be my favorite crêperie, but after a few years abroad, my husband and I went back last Saturday. We were disappointed with our last experience... the prices are too high, whether it's the galettes or the drinks (almost €5 for a basic Coke)... the portions are less generous... and I'm still looking for the frangipane in my crêpe. There was only butter, and it was swimming in it... so much so that when the waiter put my plate down, it was dripping and stained my pants... I managed to point out to the waiter that I hadn't tasted the frangipane, but that there was only butter, no filling... and he replied that yes, it was very generous, but I wouldn't call it generous when the crêpe isn't even filled.... We won't be back, and I won't be recommending it to my friends in Rennes. Best of luck.
