Excellent crepes, an amazing selection, and lots of original options made with quality ingredients. In short, we had a fantastic meal! Add to that a warm and friendly welcome, and you have a place you absolutely must try! We recommend it 200%!

A very pleasant atmosphere, excellent waiter with a welcome sense of humor that kept everyone in good spirits. The crepes were very generous and delicious. A very good time.

Galette du jour had glazed, caramelised apples, salad, melted cheese - most likely reblochon, jambon cru and was delicious. Dessert was a crêpe Paimpol - with caramel beurre salé - aaarrrgghh… and vanilla ice cream with crème chantilly with 50cl draught beer. The mem’sahib had a Galette Baltique, with Bio (sparkling) Apple juice. Excellent value. Of course I’d go back again!

A crêperie I recently discovered. 50 meters from the cathedral. Good food, beautifully presented dishes.
Perfect service, pleasant waiter. The restaurant's decor is tasteful.

I discovered La Picoterie last night, and I must say I wasn't disappointed. The atmosphere and welcome are warm, the service is top-notch, and we customers are truly pampered, with a kind word always from the waiter.
La Picoterie's specialties are galettes and crêpes, and I must say my galette was as generous as it was delicious, made with excellent ingredients, accompanied by a superb sweet cider, and my crêpe for dessert was simply divine.
All this at a reasonable price.
Ideally located near Chartres Cathedral, it's the perfect restaurant after a visit to the beautiful city center.
