I recommend the crêperie La Reine Anne for the quality of the crêpes, the service, and the atmosphere.

Excellent creperie, certainly the best we've tried in these first 10 days in Brittany. Beautiful region. This also explains why it was featured in the famous Guide du Routard. Their buckwheat crepes (called "galettes") are excellent in terms of their workmanship, filling, and presentation. The Breton, for example, is served with a separate bowl of salad and walnuts. (P.S. I've never understood why in France they almost never cut the salad: you risk finding leaves that could cover the entire table 😏). The young man who served us was very attentive and thoughtful. The room was small and welcoming. The background music was pleasant and unobtrusive. For an aperitif, we had the Kir Breton (cider-based, instead of wine). I chose the Chestnut flavor instead of the classic cassis: a new experience, recommended for those who want to explore the usual tastes. We didn't order the sweet crepes—there's too much food these days—but I peeked at the ones served at other tables, and they looked inviting. I didn't try the cider, alas; I had another hour of driving ahead of me. However, I did take home a case with three bottles; I'll try it as soon as I can! The bill came to €28 for two crepes, two Kirs, and a coffee. Plus €15 for the case of cider.

Exceptional crepes. Remember to book or arrive right when they open. (Don't be fooled by the possibility of finding empty tables. It's simply the manager's good organization to avoid making customers wait.)

For me, a meal of crêpes was a strange concept until I discovered this wonderful place, on the recommendation of friends from Brittany. The crêpes are delicious, thin, and crispy, and the welcome and service are impeccable, perfectly tailored to each customer. In addition to the regular menu, they also have daily specials that are very tempting. During our stay in Brittany, we went back three times and we will gladly return if we are ever in the area again.
