Restaurant La Moulinière in Saint-Malo's walled city. A bit cramped, we dined on the furnished terrace. The set menu was €29, or €24 without a starter or dessert. We opted for the latter. Service was quick (45 minutes) and efficient, nothing more. However, the waiter arrived at the restaurant at 6:55 pm. The gravlax was a little light on lemon, but the avocado mousse was very light. The dill, however, enhanced the salmon nicely. The extra touch was the raspberry vinaigrette, which really made all the difference. The local, artisanal rosé cider was also excellent, tangy and fragrant. The mint and yuzu cider was simply a curiosity. For our main course, the seafood sauerkraut (with a €3 supplement) was very generous and flavorful. It's a shame there wasn't a finger bowl; since the large prawns weren't peeled, it would have been a useful addition. The haddock had a very good but very strong flavor, so the sea bass and salmon should be eaten first, otherwise they might be considered bland. The perfectly cooked cabbage had a lovely white wine flavor. The cod was served with a chorizo ​​sauce. It lacked a bit of "zing" for my taste, but it was flavorful. The bed of julienned vegetables was perfectly cooked, almost crisp, just right. All of this was accompanied by a small salad and a gratin dauphinois. We didn't order dessert. The starter and main course were more than enough. Returning to this restaurant in May 2026: same opinion regarding the food, still just as delicious. The service was still just as "fair" due to the very high volume of customers during the long weekend, but the finger bowls were there this time. The 4 stars are still well deserved.

Disappointed by this place where we received a cold welcome. We had barely been given the menu when the waiter asked us if we had made our choice. The wine was placed on the table without us being offered a taste beforehand. We had to ask for the ice bucket. It was difficult to judge the food as it was just a platter. However, the desserts were good.

You can taste the homemade quality and the fresh ingredients. Everything is perfect, from the appetizer to the dessert, including the service. Special mention to the Saint Nectaire galette! (I had two!)

We had a very good meal, the portions were generous, the service was friendly, and as promised, I'm giving Flavie a 10/10 👍

We had an exceptional time at this restaurant! The dishes were absolutely delicious, carefully prepared, and bursting with flavor. The value for money is simply fantastic, making the experience even more enjoyable. A huge thank you also to Flavie, who was amazing from start to finish: smiling, attentive, a great listener, and very professional. Her warm welcome and kindness truly contributed to making our meal perfect. We are delighted to have discovered this establishment and highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy a wonderful meal of quality. We will definitely be back!
