We had the most delicious meal at La Malouiniere. The Gallettes were amazing..! Our waiter Basili was really friendly and provided excellent service. Highly recommended as a restaurant to visit on your stay in St Malo.

The service left much to be desired; there was too long a wait between courses, over 25 minutes for our dessert (a crepe). I mentioned this to the waitress (who wore glasses), who told me "that wasn't true" and returned 5 minutes later with our desserts, placing them very abruptly on the table. She then began clearing the surrounding tables and, while cleaning them, sprayed us with cleaning products (especially my partner). Despite the decent food, the friendliness left much to be desired.

A wonderful surprise! We were looking for a restaurant where our dog was welcome! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal! My husband even asked for the chef to be commended! (seafood sauerkraut) For me, it was also perfect (camembert galette), and the kouign-amann was absolutely divine. A special thank you to Flavie, who welcomed us with professionalism, kindness, warmth, and a smile. As for the price, it was more than reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant!

16/08/2026: Small order of apple juice, the juice was fine, it's a shame that the 3 interactions with the staff were really forgettable and in a questionable mood, but well, with the crowds in the area, it's certainly human to have moments of fatigue or weariness.
14/08/2026: It's wonderful to find a manager with such a unique location who chooses to offer good quality food at reasonable prices. With this location, it could easily be a typical tourist trap, but it's not; it's truly excellent. Thank you, sir, for respecting the charm of the place and offering such a wonderful experience.

07/08/2026: There might be a bit of a wait, but WOW, the sausage galettes and plain crêpes are simply DIVINE! I regretted not ordering twice as many.
