Crêperie Sainte-Anne sur Rennes

What a pleasant surprise this pizzeria was! I heard about it on social media and decided to try it, and I wasn't disappointed at all. I usually don't finish pizzas, but these are incredibly light, cooked in a wood-fired oven, and the portion sizes are generous. And let's not forget the owners! They're so welcoming, even in the heat and the summer heat. It's a family-run place where you can have a truly enjoyable time and take your time eating. They always check to see if everything is alright and if you need anything. Honestly, you can go there without hesitation.

Pizza was not outstanding, as described by multiple previous reviews unfortunately. It’s just OK, not more. Prices are rather high. So

We came as a family of four, including my little Yorkie. The pizzas were, as usual, excellent. The best pizzas in Sainte-Maxime. They're unbeatable. The welcome is warm; the owner took the time to greet us, and the server goes out of her way to ensure we have a pleasant experience. A wonderful discovery! A lovely little family-run pizzeria, beautifully decorated. The pizzas are delicious, and the speculoos tiramisu is divine! The team is fantastic, and the waitress was a delightful and very kind lady. Thank you for this wonderful culinary and personal experience.

A very pleasant surprise at Pizza Remy in Sainte-Maxime. I particularly want to highlight the pizza dough, which is light, pleasant, and truly well-made. This is rare enough to be worth mentioning, as we unfortunately see far too often pizzas with industrial or standardized dough, simply showcased for their appearance on social media. Here, you can tell that real care has gone into the dough, and that's much appreciated. The toppings are fresh and of relatively good quality, which complements the whole experience nicely. A minor drawback is the tomato sauce, which, personally, doesn't suit my taste. I want to be clear that I'm not saying it's bad, just that it's not to my liking. For me, and this is obviously just my opinion, a Neapolitan pizza tomato sauce should be very simple: tomato, salt, olive oil, and basil, without any added herbs or other seasonings. The welcome was pleasant, with that charming, family-run pizzeria feel that I found appealing. The mother helps out in the dining room; she might still be a little inexperienced, but that's precisely what adds a warm, family atmosphere that's so nice. I'm giving it 4 stars as encouragement, because it's clear there's hard work, goodwill, and above all, a solid foundation for creating something truly excellent. With a few tweaks, particularly to the tomato sauce to suit my taste, this could really become a top spot.

The best pizzas I've ever had, the toppings were top-notch. We ate in, the place is adorable and the service was excellent. The speculoos tiramisu is to die for!!!
