06/02/2026: We had an absolutely wonderful three-course lunch here today and couldn’t recommend it more highly. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming and quietly special. We asked if it might be possible to have different wines with each course, and rather than a simple yes, we were taken on a genuinely beautiful journey through white wines, each one thoughtfully chosen and perfectly suited to the food. It felt personal, unrushed, and full of care — the kind of experience that stays with you long after the last glass. The food itself was excellent, beautifully prepared and balanced, making the entire lunch feel like a real occasion without ever being pretentious. To top it all off, after realising we’d walked much further than planned from the neighbouring village (and perhaps enjoyed the wine a little too much!), the owner very kindly offered to drive us home once the restaurant had closed. That level of generosity and warmth says everything about the place. A truly lovely atmosphere, exceptional hospitality, and an experience we’ll remember fondly. We would return in a heartbeat.
