The appetizer buffet was of very high quality (probably one of the best I've ever had), the main courses (ribs and carpaccio) were excellent and generously portioned, the dessert buffet was quite good (although the chocolate fountain service was rather impractical), and the drinks buffet was unlimited (beer, red, white, and rosé wine, still and sparkling water, and various sodas). The children's menu at €8 was also decent. Many thanks to Nathan and the second waiter for the evening (a trainee), both of whom were very friendly and professional. The atmosphere and decor were top-notch, maintaining the railway theme (we ate in the carriage).

13/04/2026: Le Comptoir du Malt in Liévin truly deserves recognition. About three months ago, after a business lunch, I left my laptop and several files there. The team found them, carefully stored them, and then returned them to me with great professionalism. I sincerely thank Kevin, Tom, Léa, and Raïanne for their integrity, thoroughness, and dedication to service. This kind of attitude speaks volumes about the human qualities of an establishment. Beyond this incident, I have always appreciated the warm welcome, the quality of service, and the atmosphere of the place. A reliable, honest, and professional team.
