Cucina des Evens sur La Baule-Escoublac

We came as a group of four, without a reservation, simply intending to have a drink. We ended up being tempted by dinner, and what a wonderful surprise! The entire team is lovely, smiling, attentive, and caring from beginning to end. We truly felt welcome. The setting is superb, both inside and out, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. As for the food, it's simply delicious: flavorful, generous dishes, prepared with care. The value for money is exceptional and, in our opinion, hard to beat in La Baule. A truly wonderful discovery that we wholeheartedly recommend. We will definitely be back!

The service was very good, and the setting pleasant. The meal was quite good. The Gusto salad was very light. There wasn't much in it. Even the salad itself was hard to find. A shame for the price.

Leaving La Baule train station, I headed towards the beach in search of a restaurant. I stumbled upon Cucina, rated 4.1/5. I was expecting a good pizza, but I didn't think I'd enjoy it so much. I received a very warm welcome and was seated quickly. Since I was eating alone, I hesitated between ordering a starter and a pizza. I asked the waitress for advice, and she suggested that a starter might be too much and recommended a pizza with an extra burrata if I had a good appetite. So I chose the Pastore with the burrata on top… and it was delicious! The pizza was excellent: a flavorful crust, quality ingredients, perfectly balanced seasoning, and a touch of oregano that made all the difference. The burrata was also very tasty and added a real bonus. Finally, the prices are quite reasonable considering the quality of the products and service. A very good place that I recommend without hesitation!

We ate there tonight and it was very good! The welcome was very pleasant and the waitress was excellent! I absolutely recommend it.

Brilliant Italian restaurant. A fortunate find, just looking to get out of the heat. A perfect pizza Napoli, a wonderful insalata gusta with a combination of fruit and salad never encountered before (but perfect) and terrific cafe affogato to finish. And of course an excellent campari spritz to start. What better way to escape 35 degree heat outside?

A very good restaurant offering high-quality, generous portions. Fresh pasta, refined dishes, and pleasant service. We will definitely return.
