A little disappointed. たこやき tastes basically like fried flour. The plat was also just normal.

I came to eat here a year ago and back then the food was delicious, but this time my experience was pretty bad. The takoyaki were very salty and the dough inside was not cooked. The miso soup was also salty. Same, the okonomiyaki was not cooked enough. The staff was unwelcoming.

Great place! You don't have to wait to be seated, I just sat down and the waitress came to take my order and she spoke great english. Shefs make everything to order, I had mixed okonomiyaki with bacon, squid, and prawns. It was very tasty, but the cabbage was a bit mushy. Definitely recommend adding egg and kimchi! Nice cold green tea.

I recently had dinner with a friend at Happatei and was impressed to find such authentic Japanese food in the heart of Paris. The menu offered a good selection of dishes. We tried the shrimp okonomiyaki, which were cooked right in front of us and tasted just like the ones in Japan. The relaxed, casual atmosphere featured bar seating and a few small tables. The service was friendly and informal, making for a nice dining experience.

Disappointed. I've been wanting to try this restaurant for months and in the end it's a big disappointment for me: very greasy and the flavors aren't there. The quantities are however more than reasonable for the price but for me it's a no and I wouldn't go back. Given the number of restaurants that have the same offerings in Paris, I prefer to go elsewhere.

18/09/2024: We came here for dinner during the week after looking for a french restaurant , I settled on this one after seeing the positive reviews and seeing the menu. The restaurant itself was really inviting and warm, it is a really cool location with it being an old pharmacy. They have a plethora of wines, and their food menu changes daily. We opted for poached egg in chorizo sauce and beef tartare for starters and both picked the veal for mains. Both were delicious and even the salad was lovely with a really tasty dressing. Only thing is that we didn't get a wine menu, and so didn't know the price of the wine until we paid which could be dangerous depending on how much you might order ! We had only one glass each, which cost €20 for both and was more than we wanted to spend for a glass of wine but we could tell it was more expensive wine so understandable. All in all, food was lovely, Really nice service too, definitely recommend !
16/09/2024: Incredibly friendly and hospitable waiter - took the time to explain the history for the establishment (used to be an actual pharmacy) and their menu. Fresh ingredients with a menu that rotates daily. Would love to dine here again :) You do need a reservation
