I came to eat here a year ago and back then the food was delicious, but this time my experience was pretty bad. The takoyaki were very salty and the dough inside was not cooked. The miso soup was also salty. Same, the okonomiyaki was not cooked enough. The staff was unwelcoming.

Great place! You don't have to wait to be seated, I just sat down and the waitress came to take my order and she spoke great english.
Shefs make everything to order, I had mixed okonomiyaki with bacon, squid, and prawns. It was very tasty, but the cabbage was a bit mushy. Definitely recommend adding egg and kimchi!
Nice cold green tea.

I recently had dinner with a friend at Happatei and was impressed to find such authentic Japanese food in the heart of Paris. The menu offered a good selection of dishes. We tried the shrimp okonomiyaki, which were cooked right in front of us and tasted just like the ones in Japan. The relaxed, casual atmosphere featured bar seating and a few small tables. The service was friendly and informal, making for a nice dining experience.

Disappointed. I've been wanting to try this restaurant for months and in the end it's a big disappointment for me: very greasy and the flavors aren't there. The quantities are however more than reasonable for the price but for me it's a no and I wouldn't go back. Given the number of restaurants that have the same offerings in Paris, I prefer to go elsewhere.
