Very good meat from the owner's own farm (cows in pasture and not in factory farms)

Likewise, I was very surprised to see the negative comments, which don't reflect our experience at all at Bar de la Gayme.
Perhaps the owner is temperamental, or maybe he's just tired of looking for good waiters and waitresses.
In any case, our waitress was perfect. The service was quick, and the local dishes were exactly what we wanted.
The children enjoyed the famous croque monsieur—just one slice, but twice the size of a slice of bread, so it was purely for aesthetic reasons 😂. The prices are more than reasonable, the location is ideal, and the service is good. Enjoy your meal!

Quick and friendly service, with generous and very good portions. No complaints!
We had a crêpe and a truffade, both delicious. The children's menu is also well-presented, which is always a plus for families.
The setting is really lovely, in the heart of the old town, right next to the belfry.

Always a great atmosphere and good vibes!!!
After work, I often go to this bar/restaurant and I love having a cold raspberry beer, or even a meal, or just a crepe in winter!!!
The owners are fantastic and the waitress is lovely!!! 😉
Regular, home-style cooking!!!
I'll definitely be back!!! 😊

The servers were attentive and responsive!
Fast service
Pleasant welcome.
The food was decent, no complaints.
However, I've had better truffade elsewhere.
My friend's meat was cooked as requested.
The prices were also very reasonable.

Honestly, as a local, I see the prices they're charging and I think that in less than 10 years, this little scam will be well and truly over. 📉💸 #Prices #Scam #Local #Future
