We had a great time and enjoyed the tasty food. I took the vegan plate: all the vegetables were well cooked and seasoned. My partner had the veggie burger: the steak was good but lacked texture and consistency. Having come several times, I would say that we find a lot of the same flavors in most of the dishes. On the other hand, very good homemade desserts. In conclusion, it is a very good VG address, where we find the atmosphere of Belgian and Flemish taverns.

Very good address in Lille. Good quality products and tasty cuisine. In addition, the dishes are very generous. I enjoyed a pumpkin and leek risotto 😋

De Rode Koe is a tiny cosy restaurant located close to the Notre Dame de Treille, Lille. I went out with my friends to eat lunch and I was pleasantly surprise to see vegan options available on the menu. I had ordered a vegan burger and it was perfect. We had a great time at De Rode Koe. Although, I must say that the size of the restaurant could be challenging for larger groups; let's say 5 and above. It is ideal for small group of friends and families. The pricing is quite reasonable too. I paid €18,50 for the vegan burger.
